Would Fred Toucher been perfect for The Project

Even thought I've never considered Toucher anything spacial. I think you may be right. His current show in Bean town would make a good
fit at Project-9-6-1 if...

A.) Clear Channel didn't own them.

B.) Atlanta wasn't such an uptight, conservative market.

Even if they did come back, and I can't imagine why they would. Clear Channel, and The Atlanta market
would run them out on a rail.
 
CC's been running anyone with an 'edge' out lately. I dont think they'd even consider if Toucher was available. And he's not

Toucher could drive off the small number of remaining listeners.

It could be the lowest ratings in the history of radio. Now that is thinking outside the box.

Seems like WBCN is pretty happy with Toucher's ratings. In case you're interested in injecting a bit of reality into your world view, you can search Google to find them.

I hear they are pretty happy about Ted Kennedy and John Kerry also. Good for them. They can have them.
 
Seems to me that one of the last things Toucher would be looking to do is to move to CC-Atlanta.

your right. he's already gone on record praising the Boston listeners and complaining about how we here in Atlanta just don't 'get it'. He's definitely too smart for this market ;)
