Would GM Consider Selling 1250 WMTR to Millennium?

With WCTC no longer talk and now both 1450 & 1250 are running network oldies do you think GM would consider selling 1250 WMTR Morristown to Millennium Radio?....Reason why I ask this is b/c I think 1250 would be a great spot for a 101.5 WKXW simulcast....This would give NJ-101.5 coverage thoughout most of Northeast Jersey which currently cannot receive 101.5 well do too WPDH in Poughkeepsie....In fact I have problems with 101.5's signal anywhere north of Route 24.....1250 covers the areas well north of 24 and I can even get a rather strong signal in Bergen County where 101.5 is completely unlistenable.....NJ-101.5 on 1250 & 97.3 would give the station a complete reach of the entire state except for extreme NW part.

Boy that would be a great idea. As stated, WKXW is nothing but unlistenable in northern Bergen County. Can't always listen online. Is this a realistic idea?

This wouldn't be a bad idea - at a different point in time. Right now, Millennium seems to be interested in spinning off its AM stations. They've sold WBUD in Trenton already. The economy is a big factor in this move, no doubt. But here's another point to consider: How interested would the vast majority of people in WMTR's signal pattern be in NJ 101.5 programming? Yes, it is New Jersey, of course. But NJ 101.5, not surprisingly, is somewhat Central Jersey oriented. Posters from South jersey have complained about this in the past. More importantly, what is the likelihood NJ 101.5 would pick up substantial advertising revenue from the WMTR neighborhood? Enough to cover the purchase price - or service the debt - of the multi-million-dollar WMTR purchase? Just something to think about.
