Would it be possible for 106.3 to move their tower to West Jefferson, Ohio

Just kind of a fantasy question that I was curious about. One, I was wondering if 106.3 would be approved by the fcc to move their tower to West Jefferson, and still be 6000 watts/328 feet? If not, do you think they'd approve them moving to West Jefferson if they downgraded to 3000 watts/328 feet? I just thought of this question, and I haven't done any research to see if it would cause interference with adjacent stations because I have to leave for work in five minutes, but I was curious as to whether it would be allowed by the fcc, or would it interfere with nearby stations too much to be approved? I doubt they'll move anyway, but I figured I'd ask.

Here are the FCC minimum separations between station classes- http://transition.fcc.gov/mb/audio/spacing/index.html
For two Class a (6KW) stations, the minimum distance for second and third adjacent channels is 19.23 miles.

The limiting factors are the new 106.7 site (A to A second adjacent) at Dodridge Street in Columbus and 106.1 (WVNO Mansfield
(A to B first adjacent) at 70.2 miles.

However, it may still be possible to use a directional antenna from West Jeff.
But then you would defeat the purpose and gaining nothing since you are aiming your power away from the desired target.
106.3 is ideally situated for what it was intended to be- a London Ohio radio station.

there was a study done about 7 or so years ago.

It didn't move into west jeff, it did move south east from the current location, and improved Columbus coverage.

It was proposed, but wasn't done.

106.7's current move totally blocks that move.

snooze, you lose (among other stuff)
