Would "The Brew" work here?

I noticed that Clear Channel is begining to flip stations to this "80's and More" type rock format. Would that work here, or is KZPS and The Bone already doing this?

Sounds like what the Bone was, the first three months it was on, until Jeff and Co made it into their personal jukebox. I'd hate to see Boston, Kansas, Foghat, BTO and others lose a home in this market, but at least a concentration on the 80s (and, God forbid, some of the alt and rock hits of the 90s) would be a breath of fresh air here. And that could fill a gap that The Eagle left when they went all-Modern Rock.

I just saw the Brew's latest numbers in Inside Radio today. Down 6.9 to 5.2 in the last trend. A new station came on with a 5.4 and beat them already. Why would the Bone want to do that? They're already pretty good at shedding ratings.
