CHR is CHR, AC is AC.

And the "C" means the same thing. Hard as it may be to imagine, some non-CHR listeners here in 2010 have wide enough horizons that they do want to hear music that fits the "C" part.

Noticed the website of WHAT and one picture of the owners reminded me of Mrs. Carleson on WKRP. (No offense, I loved the show) Glad some of the DJs of my era are still on the air on WHAT. Another EZ listening station is WZEZ 100.5 Goochland, Richmond VA.

It was the picture after going to AM1340WHAT.com to Listen Online, Samsky. Wee Willies last name is Weber (don't know if that is his real name) but I guess we feel close to our Philly radio/tv personalities that we call them by their first name. (even if we never met them) Don't know how he got the name Wee, hope it wasn't his wife or the kids in high school gym class. Probably from a 50s cartoon called Wee Willie Winkie where the kids are suppose to put a clear plastic sheet over the tv set and then draw with crayons items to get Wee Willie back to safety. It was a little before my time but I remember it a little from reruns in the 60s. (probably on Our Gal Sals tv show....excuse me Sally Starr)

The draw-on-the-screen show was Winky Dink. Wee Willie Winkie is a nursery rhyme about a character who runs upstairs and downstairs in his nightgown, checking to see if the children are in bed...perhaps we should not think too much about Wee Willie Winkie.

Anyway, Wee Willie Webber is one of those ironic nicknames, like Tiny Lund, the 300-pound stock car driver from the '60s. I don't know that Mr. Webber is that big, but he's a large-ish fellow.
