Would this be a great APRIL FOOL's format joke

April 1st falls on a Sunday this year. What if Lite during Friday's drive time and all weekend long goes old school Z-100 for their flashback weekend and go all weekend even adding some heavier music by Cinderella,Van Halen, and stuff like that.
I'm sure they still have the old jingles laying around still.

Tie it all in as Flashback weekend like they do alot with a Z-100 flashback on April first.I'm SURE they could sell it.

I have a few airchecks from 2000-2002 of WZRI (and WZRA while simulcasting). I also recorded the last 24 hours or so of Z100 unscoped, and got the format change to WKKB around 6am on November 1, 2002. Almost 10 years since Z100 flipped. I miss it, but currently enjoy 101.1 & 93.5 Frank FM on Cape Cod, which is Adult Hits 70s-today but includes just about all of the songs Z100 played (www.frankplaysitall.com). Hopefully they will last, as Nassau Broadcasting has filed for bankruptcy and a station liquidation might be coming :(

Just FYI, Z100 didn't play any Cinderella. In their automation system, the "ZMUSIC" category had only 570 songs. I know this because I made a spreadsheet of every single song they played when I worked at WPRO just to keep for my own private interest. I never shared it with anyone and would prefer to keep it that way, but in the spreadsheet, the following Van Halen songs were in their rotation:

Van Halen Jump
Van Halen Why Can't This Be Love
Van Halen Love Walks In
Van Halen Panama

They had a somewhat narrow playlist, yet it was still a great station to listen to.

105.1 WWLI-HD2 “Z-[Translator Frequency]” & WWKX-HD2 [Go HD/Sub-Channels/Translators]

Hey, I Have An Idea! …I sincerely think that Cumulus Radio should convert some of its Providence, Rhode Island radio stations into HD and then start airing HD2 & HD3 Sub-Channels and then simulcast some of those HD Sub-Channels onto Low-Power FM Translators that could service the immediate Providence area…In Theory: The Z “80’s Hits & More” format could be revived through 105.1 WWLI-HD2 which could be branded as “Z-[Translator Frequency]” and 106.3 WWKX-HD2 could offer an Old-Skool Hip-Hop & RnB format that could be comparable to what WBQT-FM “Hot 96.9” up in Boston, Massachusetts airs. Perhaps 99.7 WEAN-FM in Wakefield, Rhode Island could break its simulcast with 630 WPRO-AM, due to the fact that the AM could instead be simulcast over onto the FM dial via the utilization of an HD2 or HD3 Sub-Channel feed of some other station they own (perhaps 92.3 WPRO-HD2 or even WPRO-HD3)…I have reoccurring dreams a couple times a month of driving through Providence, Rhode Island and hearing the old jingles of “Z100” but modified for fictitious Low-Power FM Translator frequencies and to mention their WWLI-HD2 origin location…They could so TOTALLY pull it off, that Cumulus Radio Group…

There is no station with the callsign WPRO-AM, just WPRO. A.M.s cannot run -HD2 & -HD3 because of bandwidth limitations. WPRO-FM (that station's actual callsign) could, however. There could be WPRO-FM HD2 & WPRO-FM HD3. But, there need to be xlators available to xlate it, which right now, there aren't.
