while there wasn't exactly, a single-summer BLOCKBUSTER, as it has been
in the past; nor a hands-down, that IS the movie of the year ( ie: 1997, Titantic)...
but, say this CHRISTMAS Holiday season...there is another "hit" movie. (what movie,
i dont know, this is a total, 'what if' scenario) / but, say there is another movie, while
it doesnt set the record books on fire, for grossing the most $,or breaking opening
weekend attendance, it boosts a modest run and lot of people for a few weeks over
time, get the chance to see it. it can be anything, really, from a "Superbad"(raunchy)styled
comedy, to a "Night at the roxybury" kind-of feel to it....but, the inquiry i am having is....
what if , this "movie" has a very electronic soundtrack - with out being the "geeky" sci-fi genre...,
could some thing as simple as this, help be the resurrection of dance music ??
..it is a fluffy, feel good romantic comedy, but just has a reeely sizzzzling soundtrack.
(and, not stuff from 1995) but five or six songs, that become to be the forthcoming "hits" in dance music.
i know,
why would paramount place jim carrey opposite (fave.female actress) and spend MUHCO DINERO $$$$$$
only to have songs by (?)bT, daRude, axwell, etc worked into the story...but, humour me, what if it did happen.
