Hmmm, why do I get the feeling feeling this person has posted here before under a different screen name?
Anyways, first up, too many recurrents. That might work in the early part of the midday, say around 10-11 AM, and mainly in a small conservative market.
You started off fine with destiny's Child, Gavin, and even Maroon 5, but then you added yet another Rock song. Granted it's a big hit, but most CHRs these days won't play three Rock songs back to back.
You then follow it up with 2 Thythmic hits that are already in Recurrent status. You follow that up with a Recurrent Rock hit, another recurrent Rhythmic that wasn't that big of a hit on CHR for Nelly, and you follow it up with TWO back to back Teen Pop female artists, and both songs aren't new...
Second half starts out with a ballad, but since it's Kelly Clarkson and it's a big Pop hit then it could work. You follow it up with "Get Right"? Decent transition I suppose, but not a big hit for J-Lo in the States. Still, for variety's sake I guess we can let it slide too. Hold off on Frankie J's "How To Deal" as you're setting yourself up for too many ballads. You've already played Kelly Clarson, so just jump to Natasha's new ballad, and follow it up with a more uptempo song like Green Day's Holiday". You can then play Frankie J or Hillary Duff, as neither song is current anymore.
You want to play Green Day, Sugarcult, Foo Fighters, and the Killers all back sto back??!! On a CHR? One that also plays 50 Cent and Nelly? Is this supposed to be a College CHR with a playlist for 2 AM??
Back to your question. I quite frankly don't think you'd find much success with your sample list on the radio. It's good though for a personal Ipod.
