Would this station from Chicago work in Boston???

I keep looking at the listings for WWME Channel 23 in Chicago. THIS STATION IS WHAT TV LAND SHOULD BE!!!!! Now if an UHF indie in Chicago could do this, why couldn’t this happen in the Boston area? Would they get the viewership or would this programming appeal to only a small segment of the audience like me? I honestly don’t know how today’s youth would look at this programming. I’ve included a current weekday listing, check out Yahoo’s listings for the weekend stuff, but if you like Cagney and Lacey, Hawaii Five-O, Quincy, Baretta, Wild Wild West, Black Sheep Squadron, Underdog, Tennessee Tuxedo, Mork and Mindy, Laverne and Shirley, The Odd Couple, MTM, Bob Newhart, Alfred Hitchcock, One Step Beyond and You Bet Your Life then you’ll like the weekend also. I’m curious what you all think. Of course living up in Bangor, ME, the point is moot for me. <sigh>

I have a feeling that the new WZMY-TV (Channel 50, Derry, NH) is going to be somewhat of a similar station for the Boston market. "ME-TV" (WWME-CA/23) in Chicago is pretty much the Indie we've all wanted to see every since the days of TV-38, WLVI/56 and WABU/68. Let's hope "MY-TV" is going to be just as popular as WWME. Boston has needed a full-time Indie since the mid 1990's. Let's hope we finally get it. I personally would love to see Chicago's "ME-TV" on satellite or on the Internet. They've got a great line up of shows. Sister station WCIU/26 in Chicago is pretty cool too. Chicago is a very lucky market for TV.

They could re-run the noon show from the 80's late at night for insomniacs! John Henning and Pam Moore were not the most exciting anchors -- solid but definitely not exciting.

It will never work! No Stoogies!.......roflmao. Really kind of a neat line up.

It's not the size of the tower.....
