Would this work?

So there's been lots of discussion about K-Rock switching to Free-FM on the board. My question is, Jersey seems to have some rock outlets but, would a station say out of Stamford, CT or Westchester work for covering some of Greater Tri-State Area. CT and Westchester/White Plains have no modern rock or rock outlets at all and seems to be viable market (lots of upper middle-class families, young adults there, etc.) Maybe a little bit more "hipper" leaning for Alternative (i.e not as much Nickelback and Puddle Of Mudd) would work? Any thoughts?

Not necessarily true. There is 107.1 "The Peak" WXPK in Westchester.
