WMOT (89.5 FM) is hoping to appease listeners who enjoyed hearing classical music on WPLN (90.3 FM), which now relegates Mozart et al. to nighttime hours in favor of talk programming during the day, by playing classical music between the hours of 9 AM and 3 PM, with jazz songs airing from 7 PM until dawn:

Judging from the lack of replies I guess no one cares about non-comm. I am quite the opposite, only listening to non-comm, WMTS, WMOT, WRVU, WFSK and WPLN HD-1, HD-3, along with iTunes and podcasts (I consider the religion on non-comm as comm). Every time I move up the band I hear a "borderline scam" commercial about gold or some such nonsense, not much music. I do have a question about commercial radio, are most stations programmed locally? For example, checking out 102.5 I find it a mixture of Radio Disney and rap wannabe, that can't be a syndicated format or can it?

i like WMOT...but hard to get in the vehicles i drive at times..i tried to listen this week was a bit confused by what i was hearing until i read these posts..
