Mike -- Judging from your post date and time, you might have caught 101.5 LITE FM's "Friday LITE Fever" (Friday nights 8 p.m.-12 mid.).
It's four hours of (nearly) non-stop mainstream disco/dance music from the late 70s and early 80s (just one five-minute spot break per hour). You referenced the old WSDO (Studio 107); I'm pretty sure they considered calling the show "Studio 101" at one point.
The rest of the time, the station is a fairly mainstream AC -- and competitor WFLC is actually a tad more uptempo and current. On Friday nights though, while LITE is boppin', WFLC is contractually obligated to interrupt its own "Totally 80s Weekend" for "Delilah" (which may account for your perception that they're a bit slower). (The stations aren't quite as head-to-head as WLYT and WKQC in your backyard.)
There were a few changes recently with the streaming provider -- so LiteMiami.com is experiencing some occasional technical glitches during the commercial cutaways. But it's my understanding they expect further improvements in the next week or so.
