Wow its been 1 year!

Wow, One year ago to my little station BUZZ ROCK RADIO (http://www.buzzrock.2ya.com) started by filling a gap in Philadelphia radio. About a month after the loss of Y-100.3 (alternative/modern rock) we began streaming. Now it has been 1 year. We have had over 5000 streams launched. We still are small but have a top of devoted listeners and fans. If you guys want tune in at 3pm for our party show.

Thanks,
Tom Sofield

Congrats. I just made a year myself, so I know how you feel.

It's been just over two years for me. No cash coming in, but I have many, many loyal listeners. It's been a fun "hobby" so far.

The first year's the tough one, but given the climate of online radio it's a killer battle thanks to the royalties. I've made it into year 6, although the first incarnation of the station went dark thanks to the outcome of the CARP nonsense. Like others, still losing a boatload of money but having fun none the less.

My slice of internet radio land.

In the next few weeks we are going to make a major marketing push.
