WOW WNBC 4

At first glance of the thread title, I thought that an O&A fan had gotten a "WOW" sign in a live shot on the Channel 4 News.

This thirteen-second clip (half of which is awkward silence) beats any "pest assault on the media" hands-down.

Or else it could just be a new sort-of TOUGH APPROACH to light news stories: "You're spending too much on food? What the F**K are you DOING? We'll tell you how to spend less, you stupid ass!"

I would watch it more!

:D Iworked with "suck and chew" for almost 20 years and I'm sitting here in Arizona just laughing my buttox off! Go Sue. You are still the best. Now, who was she yelling at? Did the pitiful suits at NBC bring back Radutsky?

WOW, I wonder what caused her to go ballistic on live TV on Channel 4? Someone said that a stage hand was trying to give her a glass of water while she was doing the live tease. Not a very wise thing to do. I doubt she was cussing at Chuck Scarborough. Hopefully, she won't go by the way Mr. Chien did at WCBS-TV. Personally, IMHO it was an honest mistake. Let her be.

Yeah but you have to admit too it ,When things happen like that it causes people to think .And when they think it can get out of hand ..... But anyways it was the highlight of the night so .... :p. Im sure once they heard it the sound guy was like WHAT lol

Is is just me or did it look like chuck was taking a nap through the whole thing? I wouldnt fire sue over this, shineola happens. But, I am curious, has she ever whipped chuck or any of the news staff at Double-You EN BEE SEE(sorry, couldnt help myself) into submission on or off the air before?

Or...tune in tongight at 11 to see who won that Fing American Idol show and if you are watching tonight at 11 to see that, you are an Fing idiot.

Or...Next on Good Day New York, if you are staying until after commercials to see if Paris Hilton really was proposed to by Benji Madden you are one sorry SOB who has no life you loser.

Glad to see there's no 7-second delay on a TV station in market #1.

Thats the question I have. I would think 7 sec. setup for both live feed and taped product would be a top priority, seeing the other issues that happened at stations over the past few years involving on-camera shenanigans.

Perhaps Simmons was having a bad day? They said the comments were directed to Scarborough, who looked like a zombie in that news update. I'd call it a Jessica Savitch moment on both accounts.

I do hope that Simmons isn't fired from the station for this incident.
