Looks like this might be the end of "the future of rock 'n roll" for good.
Just eight months removed from relocating from its home in Cincinnati to Austin, Texas, Internet radio station WOXY.com, the former "97X," abruptly ended broadcasting on Tuesday, citing economic insufficiencies; specifically, "an eleventh-hour deal that fell through on Sunday," according to one of the owners.
It led PD Matt Shiv to write a "mind-boggling" obituary on WOXY.com.
As Raymond Babbitt would say, "Bam!"
