Consumers are not interested in the HD Radio farce:

http://hdradiofarce.blogspot.com/

No, you are just not interested.

http://google.com/trends?q="hd+radio",+"internet+radio",+xm,+sirius,+podcast

http://www.statsaholic.com/hdradio.com+clearchannelmusic.com+sirius.com

Only radio-geeks are interested.

You are a radio geek yourself, so therefore you must be interested in HD?

Ok, so then how many hits HD Radio gets determines whether it is successful? I know there may be a correlation but I think sales is a better indicator.

OK. So back up your bluff. What is today's exact total of all HD radios authorized by iBiquity and sold to end users?
Prove it.

“Sirius, XM, and HD: Consumer interest reality check”

“While interest in satellite radio is diminishing, interest in HD shows no signs of a pulse.”

Ah, that shut him up. There are no blog posts/Google Trends/other useless sh*t on the internet that will convey what he wants to say, therefore, he won't say it.

"R&B star Al B. Sure! sounds off on KHHT"

"The digital HD signal on KBIG (104.3 FM) was off the air the last two weeks due to technical problems, although it should be back by the time you read this. But that's not the real problem. The real problem is that I was one of only a few people who called in to inquire about the status of the HD signal."

That would be a laugable figure I bet... and they won't post it or it will be an inflated amount to throw off the comeptition.

HD radio is such a failure!

I have seen you hdfarce page, and honestly, I am not impressed. Don’t be afraid of new technology, it won’t bite.

Hey Pocket Radio —

You don’t speak for me…ya twat. Please don’t act as though you are the mouthpiece for all consumers.

Looks like somebody got owned. :D

I was reading this thinking, "that sounds like what I wrote." Then I realized, it is what I wrote. Here's the rest of the quote:

"Analog interference concerns aside, I am a big fan of HD radio. I like the improved fidelity of AM and I like the extra variety of stations found on FM - from adult alternative to adult standards. But the fact that so few people called in to find out why the HD signal was off proves that HD radio marketing stinks."
