I saw were Kevin O'neal passed away the other day. Whatever happened to the other people from WPAP during that era, like Rick Braswell, Reed Kinney and John Dunaway?

Just curious

Reed has just retired from being the engineer at WKGC (NPR) here in Panama City. John Dunaway works in the tourism business on Panama City Beach.

wooten

Rick Braswell became PD of WPAP when Jim Dooley left in 1986. He subsequently left for afternoons at WSM-FM/Nashville when O'Neal was the PD there. Not sure what happened to him from that point.

Dooley had hired me for afternoons at 'PAP, and when he left, I was moved to mornings temporarily. Braswell moved to afternoons at that time, and when I left to go help start up Sunny 98.5, Reed Kinney (who had come off the air but was still the CE at 'PAP) went back on morning drive.

Mind you this was when WPAP was still in the old building on Harrison Avenue. That place was classic! Understand it's long gone with McKenzie Park extended out to the street where that building used to be.

God I'm gettin' old!
