A wonderful opportunity. And I'm willing to bet it can be picked up for less than $250K.

I was extremely sad when WEST ceases to exist as a local station....now a spanish simulcast.
The odds aren't great that this station will ever sign on again, unless the Catholics who are on 1420 and 1570 take this one over as well.

very sad...if they would have had some fm's in the barn and programmed stations the way they did wfec in the 80's with hot hits...they may still be alive. am i correct this was a herb scott station perhaps their flagship???

Yes, his son Mitch Scott ownes the station. I sure his father is rolling in his grave. He has taken the company and torn it apart. he has no idea how to run a radio station. He also owns 8 station down in Delaware. From what I hear, is he has cut that staff to the bare bones. Maybe if he would keep the same formats on the airw instead of flipping them every year, then maybe he would make some money.
