WPAZ's nighttime pattern

Anybody know what it was, since radio-locator.com still shows 'PAZ as off the air? Could 'PAZ be pulled in at night in the COL (Pottstown)?

On 52 watts with the new tower, 1370 covered all of Pottstown/Stowe, to Limerick to Gilbertsville to Douglassville with city grade. I remember listening to the Phils World Series on WPAZ on my mom's car pre-set vs. the dreadful adui on 1210 in Limerick at night. Just some co-channel chatter at some locations, so the map I have is pretty accurate.

How about south, towards 100 and 23?/Owen J. Roberts HS?

Sorry, that won't make the trip. Not at night. At that power level, and with today's AM noise floor, plus co-channel chatter, figure a MAX of 10 miles from the Upper Pottsgrove tower site, on a good night, for a reliable, listenable signal...and that's being generous. Can it be picked up there at night, probably. Is it listenable without a Hallicrafters, Grundig or Hammerlund? Doubtful. Let's face it. The 52 watts is designed to allow it to cover the COL at night WITHOUT skywave. And it does just that. And not much more.

Daytime, it's crystal clear there at 1kw, even to Downingtown. But not at 52.

Oh, the memories..........I went to Owen J. Roberts. Back in the day in the Middle School we were all given 1370 WPAZ text book jackets. Everyone had them since it was a requirement to put a 'jacket' on all of your text books. Great way to advertise.....

I remember having orange and pink paisley swirl Famous 56 WFIL book jackets at St Aloysius in Pottstown. They were the ultimate in cool at the time, about '68.
