WPBC Decatur silent

A DXing website based out of Wisconsin reports that WPBC-1310 Decatur has gone silent as of June 21, 2005. Does anyone know what the fate of that station will be?

They have had trouble with the tower not matching full power
transmitter load and were running low power for a while. The
current tower near the Marta station at Avondale will be coming
down by December. Marta has taken the property from what I understand.

The station has moved its format to 1040 in Conyers and was trying to sell the 1310 frequency.

If MARTA takes over the land where 1310's tower is (at the Avondale Estates MARTA stop) are they planning to dismantle it? I'd love to put in a bid...

I understand the tower is not in that great of shape. Who knows
they may let ya have it if you haul it away. I got a nice tower
some years ago after it was dismantled for taking it away. Right place at the right time.
