WPBZ To Be Jacked?

In a non-Wilma related moment, I heard some buzzings about the Buzz flipping to Jack tomorrow morning. Most of the speculation comes from comments made by Howard Stern this morning about losing several "small market" stations tomorrow due to a format flip. Although West Palm Beach is more a medium market than a small one, the Buzz would seem to be a logical choice that fits the profile. Inside sources such as FMQB confirm this rumor. Has anyone else heard anything?

I'm only "local" two months out of the year, but...

Having the Buzz go away seems a bit odd. It does OK ratings-wise, but so did WCBS-FM as oldies...

I guess we will see very soon...it would be depressing to see the Buzz go away

Roth to Buzz

R&R confirms Roth will be heard on WPBZ, among other affiliates...While it lists the confirmed "Free FM" formatted talkers, it does not state the Buzz as one of them.
Edited by bossmsx on 10/25/05 02:08 PM.

Is there room in this market for another FM talker? I doubt it...
