Guess this is a fairly new format for Panama City Beach's WPCF:

I just saw that they're being relayed on W227CE, a translator at 93.3, running 250 watts.

Is 1290 still doing the "Trop Rock" format?

It's several years old. Like Zach said, they just picked up a translator. If/when the translator goes live I was expecting a new format. I believe someone high up in the cluster was programming TropRock as his personal jukebox.

That is correct. And the current WPCF was WSCM before taking on the current set of call letters.
