is am1600 back on the air with NBC sports? I heard it was off the air & was for sale.

I don't hear anything on WPDC---1600. Are they testing? When?
When will oldies begin ? automated, satelllite, voicetracked, live--local jocks?
 
Running a bit behind in preparations, but WPDC is on the air at normal power running a loop of oldies and jingle ID's and a hot-rodded DAP. Tomorrow, perhaps an Optimod. It will not be satellite, it will be automated but locally programmed by a jeenyus.
 
WPDC--1600 can't be at 1000 watts.
Maybe its at low power -- 18 watts.
Any more info about WPDC ? wonder if it might add an fm translator.
 
WPDC is now being heard in south central Pa. testing with oldies.
must be at full day power---1000 watts. ( 18 watts is the night power)
 
Years ago? Less than a year, actually. 'Twas 4/17/14 at 2:37pm when WHYL ran an ID and shut the breakers off to the rig. The landlord dropped the towers 12 days later. The audio on 1600 sure sounds like the same guy! And he made it back on the air before 960.
 
This 1600 must be run as a hobby. Music selection would appeal to a 75 year old. Plus no ads. Sounds like a trainwreck. Also according to radio locator this station does not appear to have a valid license.
 
WPDC in the graveyard at 1600 will get no attention unless its on an fm translator.
An fm translator with some power & reach.
 
See idiot above w/o enough guts to at least register and post under even a made-up name. A year from now, we'll see. FM would be a nice perk, but that's a loud kilowatt on 1600! Better into York, Lebanon, and Dauphin county than 960 or 1490. Everywhere there are naysayers and the successes who ignore them.
 
When willl 1600 have a website & stream audio on--line ?

1490 & 960 don't seem to be streaming so far .
 
Want to make $$$ at 1600? Air the format aired by WYYC. (1250)
