There is a bunch of WPEN 950 AM news to tell you about. "COSTAS On The Radio" will be heard on Saturdays from 10 PM-12 AM starting this Saturday 11/24 http://www.premiereradio.com/news/view/450.html , 18 PENN quakers basketball games will be heard on the station: http://www.pennathletics.com/ViewArticle.dbml?SPSID=8624&SPID=539&DB_OEM_ID=1700&ATCLID=1305239 and WPEN is airing Dan Patrick's national sports talk show on tape delay from 11 PM until 2 AM Mondays-Thursdays starting as of last night http://danpatrick.bloggingolbermann.com/2007/11/18/theyre-a-hardy-bunch-in-phildephia/ .
 
And don't forget, they're going to be airing the play-by-play of all three big football games this Thanksgiving!

I'm sure hundreds of thousands will have their sets turned off and collecting dust to listen through static and interference to hear all that play by play! Lol.

Correction. I don't know that's the case because Villanova basketball is playing thanksgiving night. I don't know what will WPEN do with that game, air it on 950 AM or let one of its sister GM Philly stations air the basketball game.

They are finally going to register a rating with Arbitron!
They better hold a bake sale to afford some major market talent or they will continue to be non-existent.
 
WPEN 950 AM NFL broadcasts today

Green Bay At Detroit at 12:30 PM ET, and Colts at Falcons joined in progress (after 9 PM when Villanova basketball ends. Nova game starts at 7 PM tonight on 950 AM) are the games WPEN is airing today. The second game , New York Jets at Cowboys at 4:15 PM I don't think will be aired on Philadelphia radio at all.

Correction the Colts/Falcons game will be heard approx 9:30 PM tonight on WPEN in progress.
