WPFM even listenable in Navarre?

Tibbs4

Banned
rob, I saw there was a new Mapquest update online today and I thought of you. Have you had a chance to listen to WPFM down in that Panama City area? Its nearly a GM station, as it's right at the end of the FM spectrum at 107/9. Is it any good?

welll......cceng.

let's be precise Tibbs.....you might be able to "hear" the signal in Navarre, but calling WPFM "listenable" is being waaay to generous

cceng....just in from the deer woods...

Can't sneak nuttin' past ya, Al Pacino! It post-Christmas music and insanity. I am REALLY bored. Rob, why don't you give us an frequency update as we roll into 2011. Alot might have changed and maybe not. If you list the stations with there numbery things and your guesseses as to power stength then the format (maybe rate it 1-10), maybe our mentor can fill in each towers number of strobey's and even the colors. I hear Castro is sending the Miami Easy 93.1 into Navarre to allow you tropo the Bee Gees and Donna Summer, rob.

Where did this topic come from? Has something happened at WPFM that makes them relevant again? WPFM/The Great 108 faded into the history books years ago. Unless someone with deep pockets that wants to "play radio" buys it, why keep beating this dead horse?

If there is any meat to your question Tibbs... yeah PFM should reach Navarre Beach most every day but Biloxi's Kickin' Country wipes out the signal anywhere west of Navarre.

Sorry Poledo, there is no relevance whatsoever to my post. Just suffering from post-Christamas playlist blues and was thinking about warmer weather (although I like the cold in it's own perverse Nashville way) = hence the beachy sun and sounds. I'd think Double Dude should be ready to unload the pile of rubble in 2011, but Tillery ain't called me yet. I have ccengs island fund credit card...let's buy them suckers. $25,000 for all four stations. With interest payments and late fees based on the ad rev they bring in total price ends up at $5 million, right? It works for the FCC.

I can't even understand any of the remote breaks from club la vela by PFM. It's talking all over a song that has lyrics playing at the same time. One jumbled up mess

Signal varies depending on conditions. Right now, it's just computer noise. On all 3 radios (soon to be 4)
