I still insist Pensacola's 107.3 @ 100kw from the old, short, tower had a far better signal than the new site with 50kw @ 1600 ft.

The FCC will allow WPFM to broadcast from the top of the tallest tower around Panama City but they have to sacrifice some of their watts to protect 107.9 in Biloxi and 107.9 in Valdosta and 107.7 in Andalusia, etc...
Pensacola's 107.3 has the same issue, only a C1 license in a market dominated by full class C and C0 stations (C0=1500 feet). The Ft Walton stations have C1 and C2 licenses (C2=50,000 watts at a max of 1000 feet) but the Ft Walton stations are all under powered because Eglin won't allow a 1000 foot structure to be built near their airfields.
