I was in PCB way back in the 80's and it was THE station on the beach!

That was the heydey. For the past 15 years or so they've been engaged in a CHR battle--with some format twists along the way--with Island 106 (105.9/WILN), losing most of the time. Current owner Double O Radio revived PFM these past few years it slipped past Island--so it's back on top.

Spring ratings for Panama City come out next Thursday.

Speaking of when WPFM was great....I was at lunch at a restaurant on 23rd St today and guess who I ran into? The one and only Skip Bishop! He was down with the family for a little R&R....yep, those WERE the days!
 
You have time for a casual lunch with good ole Skip do we now? But nada for all of us glued to the CW-station-off-the-air-warning system. Forget the beers. Okay, just kidding on that. LOL.

Did Skip tell you what he thought of WPFM's calls being back and today's 'terrific sound' of the world's once best hit radio music station ???"
