Big Tigger back on the website...doesn't appear to be anything majorly different. Maybe it was just weekend website maintenance...who knows?
Yeah there is a difference he now has a nationally know female co-host with him. WPGC management needs to do a better job promoting its morning drive show. Only two things could explain this sarcasum or not really listening to the station.

So what are people's thoughts with the new Big Tigger show with Free? Do you think this will be enough to creep up in the morning ratings?

Also, haven't listened in awhile, but who is doing afternoons on PGC right now?

Probably not enough to help the 12 plus ratings but who knows i think that the key demo for this show is 18-34 which we never see. The afternoon drive slot is vacant. Me personally i like Tig and Free together they sound GOOD.

I listened Monday morning and it sounded like their pairing makes a good fit. Females will likely enjoy the change and choose WPGC over WKYS in the mornings. Also the 18-34 demographic will likely enjoy the changes as well. The jury is still out on the overall 12+ improvement with the programming changes. WPGC might make up some ground with the morning show and the late night changes.

Afternoons are still vacant, but it's likely Herkules will wind up there with Todd B taking back over the late nights full time.

So did Herk do 6 to 10 last night?

No, they had Tony Redz doing it solo from 6-10pm and Herk was still on the KoolOut last night. Tony Redz was already producing behind the scenes and filling in occasionally. I'm not sure if this is an interim move or permanent with him there from 6-10p or if Herk will move up to join him soon. But like you, I want Todd B to go back to hosting it as well because is a better suited slow jams show host considering his history of being the host with Justine Love for nearly a decade and hosting slow jams back at WHOV in Norfolk.

So is DC Home Jams still on?

Unfortunately, they phased that out back in late 2007 in lieu of "106 & Park Radio Countdown" and now they air "Live in the Den with Big Tigger" during that time slot. The majority of the weekend specialty programming that was on WPGC in the past is gone these days. Practically everything from "Go-Go 95" to "DC Home Jams" has been removed from the line-up.
