wpgg evergreen back on the air

wpgg am 1470 is back on the air and running a sports talk format anyone have any questions let me know

I heard 1470 briefly en route up I-65 last Friday ... doubted they were on full power, as they only cut through the background ignition noise for a few minutes/miles before and after the Evergreen exits.

if you saw the forrest around and very near to their tower you would understand why it wasn't coming in too good

I drove through E-green twice on trips this weekend--I tuned in on Friday afternoon and late Saturday night/early Sunday morning for updates on The Masters. Talk about being on flea power, each time I couldn't get a reliably clear signal until I was downtown.

I remember 1470 being quite listenable on car radios in Monroe County back in the day. I hope that's not the full 1000 watts WPGG is licensed for, I'd love having a local sports radio choice (sans Finebaum) to listen to. Might a translator be in the works?
