WPGS 840 joins the Smooth Jazz LPFM network

Unless it's just a way to have audio while you fix your Chuck Harder download equipment, something's up at WPGS.

Maybe it's being leased by the LPFM group. I'll keep me ear to the ground. One of you reporter types out to call and see what you're told: 321 383 1000 (WPGS office phone).

I will miss Chuck Harder. (as do I miss Phil Hendrie on WIXC early AM)
 
Most likely an LMA as the station was not making any money with the TalkStar format. It would be nice to see the music on 1060 so we could listen 24/7 instead of just during the day.
 
One upside is that the content in the LPFM Jazz Underwriter Acknowledgements will be legal as they air on 840 AM.
