WPGS's engineer Jay Rowan is in Parish Medical Center

Jay is in room 342. He's on a respirator and can't converse a lot, but is old boss Ed Shiflett says it breaks the boredom. If you know Jay, and can stop by, give his hand a squeeze and tell him you're thinking about him.

Mr. Rowan entered the hospital last weekend on his 74th birthday.
 
I was informed by Ed Shiflett, owner of WPGS, that Mr. Jay Rowan passed away this afternoon. Arrangements are not available as of this time.
