Pretty big move by Power 104.1 in the latest 12+ numbers. Kiss takes a tumble, Hot 93.7 down a bit.
Elsewhere, WWYZ is up slightly, WTIC(AM) is down slightly, and everybody else treads water.
Both WDRC-FM and WHCN-FM are listed as "classic hits." I don't see either one qualifying for that label -- 'HCN plays too many currents, recurrents and '90s songs; 'DRC plays too much r&b and '60s/'70s pop. Has the definition of "classic hits" become broader? Is either station truly classic hits? I listened to a half-hour of 'HCN the other night and heard Creed's "One Last Breath" and something by the Dave Matthews Band. I listened to a half-hour of 'DRC last night and heard Labelle's "Lady Marmalade," Abba's "Waterloo," Johnny Bristol's "Hang On In There, Baby," and the Beatles' "You Can't Do That." Classic hits???
