WPHI Becomes Hot 107.9

On September 8th, 2011 at 5 PM EST, WPHI Philadelphia launched a new Urban format branded as Hot 107.9. This launch came after the station had stunted as Michael Vick 107.9, and then Rickey Smiley Radio. The syndicated Rickey Smiley Show will be WPHI’s new morning show.
