WPHL........The Tube on Comcast Digital 250

Anyone notice or check out WPHL's The Tube on Comcast Digital ch. 250 ??

It is a 24/7 Music video channel.......finally a good music video channle actually showing a good variety of music videos 24/7. Looks as if WB17 is presenting this since their WB17 logo pops up from time to time.

Also WHYY has two additional digital channels WHYYA for ARTS and I am not sure what the second one is, it was off the air.

Wonder why Comcast does not announce these new channles.......they seem to add new channels and then never announces them. (ex. Indy and Retro Plex, Hallmark, Oxygen...etc.)

I get The Tube over the air, but now I'll have to check it from Comcast's Digital lineup. I'll be able to DVR some videos, now, as well :)

I mentioned below that Comcast added WFPA Telefutura, Travel Channel as well as other channels. The only ones I know missing that Dish Network or DirecTV have, that Comcast still doesn't, are Fuse, IFC, WE, Fox Movie Channel and maybe Lifetime Real Women. But Comcast has several channels, including lot of premiums not on DirecTV.

Comcast did advertise the addition of Oxygen (as seen thru commercials, on other cable channels), but nothing else I'm aware of. Maybe they'll start advertising in a couple months - further once Fios is readily available throughout the Philadelphia area, or if Comcast needs to put a price increase.

For WGTW TBN or WPPX Pax/i, Comcast didn't add any of their digital channels, thank goodness.

And also Comcast Nw/NE Philadelphia has brought back the Travel channel on the digital tier.

RICK, I gotta thank you for pointing out Comcast carrying the new "Tube" channel! I had recorded this on my DVR back a month or so ago one Sunday night when WB-17 debuted the channel and simulcast it over WB-17 for two hours on an early Monday morning. I loved the channel and hoped Comcast would carry it! It's like the old days of VH1 when it was all music and all the good music videos! You're right, it's a shame Comcast doesn't publicize the new channels they carry.
You've made my day, thanks again!

I've caught The Tube and must say I was rather impressed. They seem to mix it up between new and old and seem to lean more rock.
