WPHT preemption

OK. This is bad. I'm not a Glenn Beck groupie, but I do enjoy his show. For no reason that I can fathom, WPHT just preempted the last hour today for a Dom Giordano show live from Rome. For what purpose? Why is he even there? How does this benefit the station if it blows off Glenn Beck fans. I gather there is ad revenue involved, but it sure sucks from a listener standpoint. Especially with the technical glitches so far, it's pathetic.
 
And if you have XM, BecK is on 2 different channels (only 1 on Sirius). I heard Dom talking about this last night as I was cutting the grass. I can only hope that one of the Clear Channel stations here become Rush Radio and grab Beck, Limbaugh, Hannity, and Levin and put them all on live and don't preempt them. Why can't day Phillies games go on 610 or even 94.1? One of the reasons I got satellite radio was to listen to Hannity. 1210 didn't pick him up until later. I was sick of listening to static from WABC.

All Phillies games should be on SportsRadio 1210 WIP, and Rush, Hannity and Levin should be on The Big Talker 610. :)
 
The trip was sponsored by one of their advertisers, I think. Dom gets preempted for Phillies games enough that I'm glad he got some morning airtime.
