WPIK FM off the air 96.7 FM on the air?

Wikipedia says WPIK is silent is this true. Has the new 96.7 FM signed on yet. Did KONK AM LMA WKIZ or buy it. Questions, questions. ???
 
Technically no, it is not off....however there has been an issue with a transmitter there in the lower Keys. Some Key West stations & WPIK have been running on backup power for over a month now.

I DX from Veterans Park often now, and my wife has helped me a lot. 96.7 is only Rebelde (Havana) & R Reloj (Santa Clara). Frankly if ever the Key West 96.7 comes on, I'll be unhappy...but YMMV.
