WPIX DirecTV Blackout starts

Sorry, Ron, but I must disagree with you. DirecTV is one greedy bunch of hoodlums. Having been a customer of theirs it's no wonder why they have an F from the Better Business Bureau.

Judging on how they wouldn't budge when a customer of 7 years asked how come new customers get offered free HD for live why they rape existing longtime customers an additional $10/month. I dropped those idiots in a heartbeat and I hope Tribute puts the screws to DirecTV any way they can!

Typos corrected - Gee, I guess I shouldn't get so mad at those clowns when I write! Thank God there's a choice out there and nobody should bother with DirecTV

Nobody should bother with Directv simply because of all the problems inherent of satellite TV service. Every time we had heavy rain my service would go out, sometimes as much as 30 minutes at a time. Other people I know had the same issue. Sometimes during high winds my dish would shift from it's correct position, and even just a slight nudge would cause problems. When the installers put in my dish they caused a leak in the roof of my apartment which my landlord then blamed me for. People wouldn't put up with that kind of stuff with cable,so I don't know why they're willing to put up with it on satellite.
