WPKN having problems?

When I tuned in WPKN last night, I thought they were just playing a really crappy recording.

When I tuned in this morning to listen to the car show, I noticed all of the audio sounds like a podcast, and the stereo gen is turned off. I then thought the show must be fed by ISDN or something like that. Then they mentioned something about someone down the hall at the studios, and then they played some music. The music sounded bad as well...

Anyone have any idea?

Why don't you call and ask them? WPKN can be reached by telephone at
(203) 331-9756 or (203) 331-1328.

Let us all know.

Do you really think the board op on duty is actually going to know what the problem is? The last time I called them, they had two programs running simultaneously, and the person who answered the phone could barely understand english. The problem never got corrected, at least not by *that* person.

when I am dj'ing up at school on our 3000 watt radio station (WWLR)
I am as well running the board, playing cd's, choosing cs's, writing songs down in a traffic log and taking calls... so I listen to the audio via portable walkman since I am so buisy.
figure I throw in what I do.

Ok, and what in the world does this have to do with WPKN or the previous posts in this thread? It's totally off topic...

I stated it.
two reasons:
I listen to the audio via portable walkman insted of the board audio.
I also said:
