WPLJ Simulcasting Relief Concert

Was there a reason 95.5 WPLJ needed to simulcast Friday night's hurricane relief concert. It's not like anyone listening could see the numbers or websites they were posting on the screen.

Call me insensitive, but I thought it was a waste of an hour on their FM airwaves.<P ID="signature">______________

Are you having sour grapes? It's a charity concert. I like a live broadcast. Sorry I missed it. Disney must be repairing all the bad press they got for teaching your children witchcraft (Harry Potter) and making money from the books and movies. UUUGGGHHH!!!

Off Topic - but it's Warner Brothers who has the rights to Harry Potter and is making the movies.

Don't remember where I got that from, about Disney and Harry Potter. You are right. I thought it was the same company. Now I can go work for ABC?

ABC bought the broadcast rights to the Harry Potter movies from Warner Bros., so they can carry the movies before any other network can.
