the only reason you'd k now the name is because we where lucky enough to be ground zero ;o). Ortley beach NJ. 3 feet off the ground and still got a foot of water. Although all we have to worry about is removing insulation, all new stuff on the first floor, and ripping up the first floor, and some wall removal. others had it far worse, so we lucked out!
I know Ortley well. I saw a house that was upside down across the street from the Exxon. Is the power restored to the main lines down 35, yet?

The lights over by the A and P section of 35 are on and blinking. some parts of seaside heights have power. Lavallette seems fully restored with power already, but not our section. we are right by the water tower. At least the gas company is keeping everyone up to date. Sewage, water and power restoration, not so much.

this house that landed by my father's cousin came all the way from the ocean block and is still inthe street!

trying to drag out more information...now it's starting to farm out a bit more. apparently this is only a probe into possible moving of territory. they are only scoping out buildings, now in a confirmed move as of yet. but i guess since no one else has heard anyhing on the front, i think we can put this bit of information to bed...

oh well, if they are only scoping out properties for a possible move, west chester would be far easier and nicer to get into than new york for possible job opportunities :)
