WPLM: No 12 Days of Christmas this year.

It appears they have gone in a different direction this year since I am not hearing any Christmas music.
Too bad.
WPLM was the first around here to bring back extended all Christmas music format back in the 90s.

Why bother? Between 101.9, 103.3, 105.1 and 105.7, the South Shore is well covered.
Also, don’t forget in the last year they’ve shifted more towards Hot AC/Classic Rock-Hits.

Don't forget 96.1 and 98.9 as well. This might actually will give WPLM-FM a bit of a "bump" in the ratings, for those people who do not want a steady diet of Christmas music. I think that is a smart move on 'PLM's behalf.

Isn't it the Christmas-only stations that usually get the "bump" in the PPM era, with casual listening to someone else's radio in a shop or office counting just as much as listening you choose to do because you want to hear specific programming?

WPLM seems to be playing a fair amount of Christmas music, kind of like WMJX has been. And yes, they have been making changes. One change they haven't made yet that would make the station sooo much better is if they dropped Delilah.
