Looks like WPNN bought a translator from Devine Word. Moving it in from Carrabelle. We're getting close to having a translator for every AM in Pensacola and a full FM dial.
You know who I'm talking about.
103.3 remains on air even though the AM has been off air for several months.
97.1 flat out originates programming while sometimes simulcasting the Niceville and/or Saint Joe FM.

Whatever happened with the WDWR tower, did the city finally make them take it down? I'm assuming not, since 97.1 and 103.3 are both still on air and they're both known to be operating from that site.
97.1's non-simulcast programming has caught me off guard a time or two when DXing. It's very annoying.
Still fighting at city hall over the Long Hollow tower. The facts get worse at every meeting then it gets tabled.
I believe it will come down but hope it gets replaced by a city owned tower.
I decided to add the known translator move in applications to my website for Alabama and the Gulf Coast. Here's what the filing has to say about the WPNN move in, so far. It'll be moved to 103.7 MHz, run 250 watts non-directional from the WPNN tower, apparently.
