WPOP and HD and Jason Page

I think it would make good sense for Clear Channel to put WPOP on one of their FM HD channels. It would greatly increase the clearness of the station especially after sunset. You can forget about listening to 1410 in Bristol at night. I know WTIC-FM has WTIC-AM on one of their HD channels.

On the programming side, so far I give a thumbs up on their new local sports talk show "The Back Page" with Jason Page. It's about time we got some local sports talk other than the 6 o'clock hour on WTIC-AM.

Re: WPOP and HD and Jason Page

That makes sense. Having WPOP on 104.1 HD-2 or maybe WAVZ on 101.3 HD-2 would fill in a lot more gaps than 96.5 HD-2 does for WTIC-AM. Hartford AM is practically nonexistent in Bristol at night. Sports has already made migrations to FM in Springfield and Providence.
