They haven't made an announcement about News being in HD. However they are airing several News promos that were shot in HD. So if they have the ability to shoot and air in HD, why isn't their newscast officially in HD yet? Just curioius. Perhaps their control room isn't set up for it yet. Wouldn't they need a whole new console and all new monitors? That's the only thing I can think of. Anyone at WPRI reading this who can fill in the blanks?
