WPRI's Vince DeMentri to WPIX

It was posted on TVSpy that he will be leaving WPRI early for WPIX.

He was hired by WPRI in early 2009, after being fired from WCAU following a major scandal.

I wonder who WPRI will name as host for Eyewitness News This Morning?

Unless they decide to go for a female-female anchor team, or get someone from outside, then they have Tim White, Sean Daly, Walt Buteau, Alex DiPrato, and Stephen Schuler to choose from. Patrick Little has also been seen filling in for DeMentri, but I doubt they would take him off of the evening newscasts.

Well, let's see - he's leaving a gig in the number 52 market for a new gig in market number 1. Now that it's been put in those terms, can you imagine why Vince would bail out so fast?

Patrick Little is anchoring Eyewitness News This Morning again this week. He also solo-anchored at least the first half hour this morning for some reason, but then Elizabeth Hopkins was there at 6 AM. Did anyone see the reason for that?
