WPRK-FM............................................Flat Lined!

Get the paddle's out, quick, hurry, give the station a shock, buzzzzzzzzzzzzz, again! buzzzzzzzzzz, once more! buzzzzzzzzzzz! We're sorry WPRK-FM between the hour's of 5:00PM and 7:00PM on Friday afternoon's can no longer be revived, we gave it our best, it time to lay it to rest.......!

Memorial service's soon to be announced!

You may lay me to rest with a studio mic in one hand & my Serato box on the other, please.
A hot picture of Jennifer Lopez resting on my crotch would also be greatly appreciated.
Oh, and have the ceremony on a Tuesday, so I can see the 2 people who religiously listened to my show.

Broadcasting from above,
- DJ Mo

Just so you know, WPRK-FM won't officially get Arbitron PPM data until next month, so what StormyChuck posted was a stunt. WPRK-FM's Arbitron PPM data won't show up in public 6+ monthly's until April 21st, I think. That's when you should start digging my grave in the event I do flatline. :D

DJ Mo: Dude, I've sampled your Friday's show from 5-7PM from time to time, you sound good on-air, there's no reason for you not to shop around, through out some resume's and disc's (tape's) at some of the other station's locally here in Orlando, I see no reason why somebody wouldn't pick up on you and put some money in your pocket.

So DJ Mo, if we tease you from time to time, we know you can handle-it!

Thank you for checking me out, Stormychuck. I really appreciate what you did on here for me.

I did have an interview earlier this year with Scott of Mix 105.1 as a Morning Show Intern, but they chose someone else around the time they went with Dana on the morning show. I've sent my resume & airchecks to every other PD in Orlando every few months. I still have yet to hear from any of them, aside from DJ Sandy of O-Rock 105.9 for Promotions Assistant when they were still around. So CBS Radio Orlando has interviewed me twice in 7 years. The others I have not heard a peep from.

It's really not that easy to get in. I've been trying since 2005 & the two stations I currently appear on voluntarily, WYKS-FM Kiss 105.3 Gainesville & WPRK-FM 91.5 Winter Park-Orlando, is my only real result since March 2006. Now that I will have Arbitron PPM data to share in the next month or two, I'm getting ready to send my material once again.

WHYI-FM Y-100.7 in Miami gave me a job offer as Production Assistant, but I had a FT TV audio job that paid more at the time. I wish I would of never declined, because the economy started to suck & I got 2 huge paycuts & got laid off months later. Clear Channel Miami would probably have done the same. Been struggling financially ever since, but I still did those 2 stations voluntarily, before I even went to CSB School of Broadcasting.

It's all good. I'm currently going to UF Pharmacy Tech school just in case nothing else happens this year. I'll have a Pharmacy Technician Externship by June all set up, which will probably lead to a more financially stable job by the end of the year.

Still not giving up on radio or DJing, though. I've gone way too far to stop now. If any of you can help me get the attention of these PD's here, I'd really appreciate it. Feel free to e-mail me at [email protected] & I will send you my resume & aircheck to pass around after I have updated it with official Arbitron PPM numbers, if they're good.
