Legendary stations sound that way. Are you the next legendary talent? Legendary Talk Show Host of the Year (AP) Steve Kass was chosen by the governor to be his Director of Communications. So Steve has vacated the midday show, and now it’s your turn. Send me a CD of what you think you do best; I’ll take it from there. Young, old, male, female, race, religion – none of it matters. It’s what you say and how you say it. And… I’d love to hear from great producers. WPRO producers are extremely detail oriented, good communicators, computer smart, experienced in digital editing, calm & cool in the midst of exciting chaos, creative, news & politically savvy, and experienced in serving air talent with the tools for a compelling radio show. I’m building a library of great producers. I’d like to hear from you.

Yes ,I know.
So , if they can get a 'BIG' name , they`ll get a 'BIG' name.
Its radio double talk. 2 websites say two different things.
Gee Cianci is in JAIL, so maybe Arlene.
How truly stupid. ...She has gone very far to the Left.
Air America was a failure on HJJ. Arlene will hurt WPRO the same way A.A. hurt HJJ.
Arlene has been talking about retirement for 3 years.
If I were WPRO ,I would look to the future with Allen.
Fallriveractive.

Come on now, Fallriveractive. Arlene supported Bush in both elections, and supported the Iraq War. Arlene is a conservative.

> Scott,
1)Arlene voted for Ralph Nader
2)Arlene NEVER was in favor of the Iraq War. She agrees with Cindy Sheen.
3) Arlene has taken a hard turn to the hard left.
4) Why would you post a series of false hoods?
Fallriveractive.

First, I have never heard Arlene mention that she voted for Ralph Nader. I find such an assertion odd, as Arlene's social views are completely at odds with Nader's. She claims to have voted for Bush in 2000, and vigorously defended him during the post-election recount. Secondly, she has never once said that she "supports" or "agrees with" Cindy Sheehan. As a matter of fact, I have heard her question some of the "support behind" Ms. Sheehan. Thirdly, back in March 2003 when the war started, Arlene argued in support of the war (as did every other talk host in the Providence market). I have never heard her actually recant that position. Fourth, I would ask for evidence to support your third claim. I see no evidence that Arlene has moved to the left, nevermind the "hard left" on any social or economic issue. Is she now suddenly pro-choice? Does she support gay marriage? Fifth, nothing I posted was false.

<> Hi Mr. Burns,
I used to listen to Arlene Violet often. Yes , she does support Gay Marrige. Call her and ask her. Also, I don`t think you listen to Arlene Violet alot, because Fall.Active was correct about those points. Call her and ask her about Nader. Arlene Violet stated MANY times she was a Nader supporter. Just to let you know.
Cheers,
Chatty.

I like it when Chatt Patty and fallriveractive agree on stuff considering it's the same WPRO newsperson.

I know some of the posters on this board.
Why the hostility?
Fallriveractive.
