He's used that term on HJY. Why would saying it on HJJ make a difference or was it the complaint that did it?
 
Charles had gone after Helen Glover on two shows along with other WHJJ personal.
Charles was pulled from the Saturday nite show.
I'm told Jim Corwin is who Charles arm twisted to get the show back.
The latest I've heard is Charles WILL be on this Saturday.

Unless somebody appointed a Christian Ayatollah while I was asleep, calling down damnation by God upon someone or something is not obscene in the FCC definition of things for which one might be fined. It may be sacriligious; it may be crude but if The FCC tried to fine somebody over it they'd have to fight it in the same courts that have made a political football out of religion.

Can anyone cite an instance of a fine being assessed under these circumstances? Inquiring Minds in The ACLU want to know!
 
I 've been listening to Jen Brien filling in for Arlene Violet. Heres an OFF THE WALL IDEA, pair up Matt Allen and Jen Brien again. Jen is best, when she has someone to bounce off of. But, she needs that 'someone'.
 
I would love to see Matt on HJJ. I don't care about Jen though. She's nothing special on the air. However Matt definitely is. With him on the same station as Michael Savage I would say that HJJ has a shot at becoming as good as WPRO was. Add John Depetro into that mix and you'd have a station that could kick WPRO's ass!

Omigod! I hadn't thought about Reverend Speakin' in years and years! I never heard the man say his name without it came out as "This is The Reverend Ennio Cugini Speakin'".
Seriously, I used to work the occasional Sunday morning shift at WYNG (now WARV) and had to run his taped shows. They were recorded on some miserable kind of home tape machine and were always horribly distorted. Almost every Sunday there'd come a call from a listener demanding to be put on the phone with "Reverend Speakin'" so they could complain about what That Tool Of The Devil radio station was doing to him!

He was always polite when I'd contact him and offer to have him come in and record his show but he never took up the offer. May he rest in peace!

That would be so incredibly Cool. I would love for that to happen. But I have my doubts about it happening. Sirius seems to deny any chance of Stern returning to terrestrial radio at every opportunity they get. On the other hand these rumors between Stern and Citadel keep popping up over and over. So maybe there is something to it. We'll have to wait and see.
