WPRO is hurting , WHJJ is gaining

How about Wpro's Buddy and Johnny D. Buddy goes on Imus show and taunts Johnny D.
Says he had Johnny D bannished to having to get up at 3 am.
I guess the one good thing about working at Whjj is Helen doesn't have anyone to pick a fight with her!
 
Is there any war left between HJJ and PRO?
Glover is losing Tim Stancwiz her side kick. Tim was on air good. From what I remember of Fisk, Glovers new side man, hes alot of liberal. How long can that last? Pro is bulldozing Hjj and it's becoming plain funny.

Citadel not only lost their shirt, but they also lost their pants too! Revenue took a sharp sharp dive in the 4th quarter. They lost a ton of money. It's now possible that WPRO could lose some of the main players which give them such great ratings. WPRO and WHJJ may end up on some common ground in the near future. Then all bets will be off. Anything can happen.

"IF" this is more than just a rumor, and 920 really DOES want to make another attempt at a mostly local line-up, then it just underscores all the time that's gone to waste there......First with the disasterous Air America experiment, and then December 2006's "Night of the Long Knives", basically gutting the station in one fell swoop.

NOW......It would almost be like trying to start up a station from scratch. With the exception of Helen Glover, they would have to cobble together the rest of the line-up between now and the fall.

Would Clear Channel really have the stomach to do it???

I fear they won't, but hope against hope that they will......if only because it might offer a means of escape for "Our Lady of the South Coast"......Ms. Keri Rodrigues......(soon to be elevated to the status of living saint by His Holiness Benedict XVI) ;D

Interesting Tid Bit about Keri Rodrigues; She's Jewish and Hispanic just like Geraldo Riveria. I understand she's NO FAN of the Christian religion. I think her and the Pope are on opposite sides of believing here, but I get the joke and it's pretty funny!

You can find anything if you look hard enough. The info I found only talked about Buddy's ratings and how Lite rock is Number 1. I also like how it's broken down in actual numbers of people listening as opposed to ratings points. So as expected there was a curiosity factor for Buddy where ratings spiked at first. But now ratings are exactly the same in his time slot as they were before he was even hired. Nothing lost, nothing gained. All that negotiating and all that salary paid out just to end up with No change! When you tune in to Cianci there are 6,400 other people tuned in. That number isn't impressing me. I thought things were going a little better than that.

Oh Man! All that work for NOTHING??? and the huge salarys! Fraid will fire the G.M. That show costs WPRO over half a mill in salarys alone! So WHJJ is gaining!

I dont like the inter fighting on wpro. There was a caller, he's weird, really a weirdo, Jon from Cranston. Jon called Dan Yorke to tell Dan he had 'betrayed' Buddy. Dan thought Buddy should have film maker Mike Corrente on his show. Caller Jon is a big buddy fan and kind of tried to start trouble. If I were Dan, I think I would try to do the best I can and not be intimidated by the Mayor or his fans.

He might not be some one to hide, but should that happen, I'd bet WPRO would lighten the salary. And if that happens, you can count on only abot 100k leaving the building. Not 300k.

Depetro's a smart man, he can figure out what would happen.
 
Carry said she was Hispanic and Jewish about 3 years or so ago. Oh well , who cares!

As for Depetro, Buddy can't get him fired. Thats not going to happen with any of them.
 
i'm confused. when did hispanic become a religion? could she not be catholic and jewish. who ever this person is?
 
I'm confused too! She's an Air America wanna be. She's on a 300 watt station in fallriver.
She once compared herself to Geraldo Riveria. He is half Hispanic and half Jewish. Carry actually
professes not to believe in any 'God'.
