I was actually confused by this because this was an old thread that nobody posted on for two months. I had to go back a page to see what this was about. I thought that nightmare was out of my life. Please don't bring her back. The blip is off the radar. Do everybody a favor and keep her there.

Here's a golden opportunity for WHJJ to gain some ground on WPRO ..
Arbitron ratings hype. The problem is Jimmy Corwin is so hammered every night

I usually post on just WSAR, but I gotta say, WHJJ made a big thing out of Depetro, Arbitron and their complaint. Why hasn't Corwin done anything to expand on the whole arbitron thing? Why not use it as an oportunity to start a local talk campain? It seems like Corwin just threw the ball up and didn't want to catch it.. What a waste of a station. Just like WSAR...
So aaa with Depetro's WIFE sending out 50,000 ratings books, does this mean FINALLY WHJJ is gaining?? ;D

Jim Corwin has been very much involved in this Arbitron ratings story. Seems very
hands on. Yet, WHJJ, his station, seems to have no direction. Was it just appealing
to Corwin to to snipe at WPRO and a former employee? Was that all it was?

Corwin is simply doing his job. He's in a business where his job depends on that Arbitron book. So he analyzed it and realized something looked fishy. He did the absolute correct thing and investigated. It turns out that he was right on the money! I don't know anything about Corwin. I've never met the man and I really haven't heard much about him. But from where I sit he appears to at least be paying attention.

Helen Glover has the best ratings there. She beats the great Rush Limbaugh! I think Corwin was
just busting Wpro management.. childish not to do more for His station!

Yeah.... I don't know what's going on in Corwin's head. I can't get a read on the guy. I guess he's trying his best. I don't think he goes into work every day intentionally trying to make bad radio. So who knows? HJJ is just a giant question mark to me.
But I do know that the only thing I listen to on that station is Limbaugh. I don't even agree with him most of the time. He's Conservative and I'm liberal. He's a hardcore republican and I'm fully Independent. Rush Limbaugh and I are polar opposites. However I listen because I think he's interesting and I've actually grown to like the pompus blowhard. I'm not sure why.
I've heard bits and pieces of Glover and I just can't get into the show. I'm sure she's a nice lady and all, but I feel very unmotivated to listen to her.
Yeah this is the 'knocking at the door' HJJ been waiting for! At least put an Afternoon Drive show on.
Depetro looking like a scammer and well Buddy, we all know the situation. It's a perfect chance for Corwin and Company. It's funny about the Title Wpro hurting, Whjj gaining. A chance to make that come true..

Something new? Last I checked, people were still filling out books saying they listen to him. Despite the hatred of Buddy here and in the papers, enough people like him enough to keep him there.ryanbadrapper said:
